Newsletter currently support Mailchimp as subscription medium. After Installing plugin you can add Mailchimp Api key to enable newsletter functionality of the plugin. First you need to create / generate Api key from the Mailchimp, after the you can add key in the newsletter plugin to enable its functionality.

To add key in your website go to Newsletter > Settings and you will see field to add key.
